Safeguarding God's Children. Church Publishing, 2004, VHS.

This program was created by the Church Pension Group in association with Praesidium Religious Services, in response to General Convention Resolution B008, Protection of Children and Youth from Abuse, which mandates training in sexual abuse prevention.  Safeguarding God's Children is an in-depth educational and training program for preventing and responding to child sexual abuse in everyday life and in ministry. Includes two professionally-produced videos (the first is for parents and congregations, the second is for clergy and employees and volunteers of churches and church organizations involved in youth ministries).  30 minutes each, workbooks available.  Please contact the diocese to register for the next formal Safe Church training.

Developed as part of safe church training for those who work with children by the Church Pension Group.  Provide a comfortable and structured way to learn about the problem of sexual abuse in the Church.
